Readability & Clarity Checker
Paste in any block of copy — a landing page, email or blog post — and get an estimated reading level, plus flags for long sentences, filler words and jargon that might be making it harder to read.
Your copy
The reading level uses the Flesch–Kincaid Grade Level formula, based on your average sentence length and average syllables per word. Lower numbers mean easier to read — for most marketing copy, aiming for around an 8th-grade level keeps things accessible to a broad audience.
Long sentences (over 25 words) are flagged because they're harder to follow — breaking them into two often helps. Filler words (like "really" or "just") rarely add meaning and can usually be cut. Jargon and buzzwords might sound impressive but often confuse readers — plain language tends to convert better.
Once your copy reads clearly, the Headline & CTA Generator and Value Proposition Generator can help you sharpen the framing around it.
